Refrigerant safety
EN 378, ASHRAE 15 & 34, ISO 5149 & 817 — charge limits, machinery-room ventilation, leak detection, and the safety classification of A1 / A2L / A3 / B2L fluids, applied to your system, occupancy and location.
Environmental phase-downs
The Montreal Protocol phases out ozone-depleting substances; the Kigali Amendment phases down high-GWP HFCs on different timetables by country. We map your exposure and your transition runway.
Energy efficiency & MEPS
Minimum energy-performance standards, seasonal-efficiency metrics and labelling — increasingly the deciding factor in what can be sold in a given market.

Same standards, different clocks
The trap is assuming one region's rules apply everywhere. They do not. The EU F-Gas Regulation, for example, does not directly bind Gulf markets — GCC states follow the Kigali high-ambient track, with a materially slower timetable. Yet EU equipment bans still reshape what global manufacturers make, so they matter as a supply-chain signal even where they do not apply. Reading that difference correctly is exactly the kind of judgement we bring.

Refrigerant transition & compliance
Two regulatory clocks run at once — the Montreal Protocol phasing out ozone-depleting fluids (R22) and the Kigali Amendment phasing down high-GWP HFCs (GCC freeze in 2028, 85% reduction by 2047). We build the transition roadmap around them: retrofit-versus-replacement feasibility, high-ambient refrigerant selection, and reclaim strategy.

High-ambient selection
Refrigerant and system choice for 45–50 °C conditions is application-specific — some fluids need design mitigation, others ease conversion. We select on engineering, not fashion.
Safety & standards
A2L and ammonia (R-717) are mildly flammable — never "non-flammable". We scope charge limits, ventilation and leak detection to EN 378 / ASHRAE 15 and the adopted local code.
